Interesting note is that the guy who introduced Stickum in mass quantities in the Raiders locker room was Fred Biletnikoff. 😉

Little hard to believe this was the most points scored in the FSU - uf matchup history.
Guess FSU D (in particular) needs the extra bowl game practices for run D practice.

I thought the qualifi ations were:
× road game in which we are underdogs
x bowl games
x games at if
x conference championship games
What I had found:
Since then, before leaving for all road games where Florida State is the underdog, all road games at the University of Florida, and all ACC championship and bowl games, the team captains explain the significance of the tradition to the rest of the players. Winning captains then return with a piece of the opponents turf to be buried outside the gates of the practice field.
Dadgummit, I just wanted that score memorialized.
Beat a good LSU team, drubbed the flailing Canes, and stole hope from the Gators.
