It's homecoming in Iowa City and an 11am kickoff after some late starts. Hopefully Iowa comes out with a bit of a chip on their shoulder after these last two weeks. On paper, Iowa should be able to run the ball on Illinois and should win comfortably. However, games are not played on paper and Ferentz has a past of letting these games be A LOT closer than they should. With that being said, I think Iowa has more success running the ball. How much I do not know. My concern is Dudek from Illinois absolutely owning our LB's in the slot. Iowa wins, but it will be one of those games where I still fear we say what the hell is going on.

We only beat Rutgers 14-7 last year, and were tied with them with like 8 minutes left in the 4th and had to hold off a Rutgers drive inside our 25 with 4 min left. Hope you were not using Rutgers as an example to instill a lot of confidence.

I think it will be a ballgame the first half, but I think Illinois is just not good and their defense is not as physical as PSU & MSU.

I scouted the Illini board, and it seems they are expecting a Hawkeye rout. Iowa usually plays to its competition, so I can see it being a closer then should be game. However, I can also see the team feeling embarrased about how they played at MSU and spanking the Illini. So, I have a Hawkeye winning, 31-10
