Well, it is senior day for a small number of Hawkeye seniors in their final home game of their career. An unusual 1:05 start for the game, thanks FS1. A win will keep Iowa in at least a tie for first unless things get real frosty in Madison this weekend. What to expect of the Iowa QB situation with Padilla starting (I HOPE) and Petras wearing headphones giving out signals. The defense has played well and could use some help from the offense. Does it matter that Big (not supposed to call him FAT) Bret will not be on the sidelines for the Illini? Iowa is playing for a chance at a title and Illinois is playing for a chance to go to the “I didn’t know they sponsored a bowl” bowl game played in an 80% empty stadium. Iowa wins the game keeping their title hopes going. Illinois is held to <17 and Iowa breaking 30 with 2 non-offensive touchdowns. As always - FIGHT for IOWA & GO HAWKS!!!!
