Line 20

Taken from Longwood Gameday Notes
Playing under the motto of “Let It Fly,” three-point shooting has been key to Longwood’s offense under head coach Griff Aldrich. The Lancers are picked to finish second in the Big South North Division in the league’s newly aligned division format. Three starters and eight letter winners return for Longwood in 2021-22, including the starting senior duo of DeShaun Wade and Zac Watson, starting freshman forward Jesper Granlund and Big South All-Freshman Team honoree and point guard Justin Hill. Hill was selected to the Big South Preseason All-Conference Second Team after a breakthrough freshman season in which he scored in double figures 14 times and eclipsed 20 points twice. Longwood has also bolstered its 2021-22 line-up with eight newcomers, including high-impact transfers from College of Charleston (DA Houston), James Madison (Michael Christmas), N.C. Central (Jordan Perkins) and Virginia Tech/Wake Forest (Isaiah Wilkins).
This is a much better team tonight than last Friday. I hope to see continued improvement in the defense. Go Hawks!
