Three starters with zero points. Why is Connor playing basketball?? Patrick should play ahead of him and Keenan should be starting ahead of both of them. Fran needs to go back to coaching small schools and hope to strike gold once every ten years....sick of the nepotism and poor coaching. He has speed and athleticism sitting on the bench but had to make sure his kids got minutes, so they didn’t get the minutes needed to really help... Other than that it’s all good!!

The Big was obviously way over rated!

I actually like the fact we’re coming out down 10 than going in up 10 because this team doesn’t do well with big leads going in to the half. Time to do to the Ducks what our opponents do to us and go on a quick 12-0 run in the first 3 minutes of the second half!

Being this could easily be the best team Fran puts together, hard to be optimistic about the future of Iowa in the NCAA tourney. Especially considering Garza being this great was a "lucky" find. No one projected him as a future all-american. When will we be better?

I think most of us are just sick of the same shit. Fran insists on playing slow, unathletic white guys who are hit or miss 3-point shooters and can't defend for shit. On top of that, Fran insists on playing his son, who wouldn't start on most MVC teams. It's a joke.

There is big chunk of HR posters that are completely happy with being average in B1G and making it to NCAA tourney and winning 1 game and out. Fran isn't going anywhere and the best we can hope is he gets a more rounded team in the next decade so our 2nd once in a decade team can compete.


I would say CMAC had no business playing as many minutes as he has this season. Its hurt the bench development a little bit, but it is not responsible for giving up 56 points in a half. Having your best shooters unable to defend is the problem and none of them have much of a dribble drive game if they get run off the 3pt line.

Not enough focus on defense by Fran. He hoped he could play zone with bad defenders and the 3pt shot in collegball is too easy a shot for good college level shooters.

I don't hate Fran, but I'm definitely had my fill of him. When he first got hired, I was hopeful we'd have a pipeline out east to start bringing in better athletes. Needless to say, that hasn't materialized.
