It is homecoming in Iowa City and an 11am kickoff. The athletes Maryland will bring in definitely concern me. Iowa will need to be stout against the run to say the least. Iowa is now ranked which means there is a target on us now.

Once again I will remind everyone that Maryland lost to Temple 35-14, and Temple lost to Buffalo and FCS Villanova.

That doesn't mean Iowa will have a cake walk, but it may mean that Maryland is a team Iowa should beat, maybe even something like this:

Question is "Which Maryland team shows up?" I see our Defense keeping the lid on the Turtles explosive players, in classic Parker fashion. We have faced better Offensive lines and held most RBs under their seasons averages. With continued improvement of our own O-Line and rushing attack (with IKM returning) and Nate keeping the throttle down, spreading the ball to his receivers, in spite of a good effort, I expect Maryland to fall well short of defeating Iowa.
