Play calling is apropos to the conditions on the field. Great teams can grind the other team to a pulp with their punishing ground game- 137 yards on the ground in one half. This game should be 21-0 at half. Iowa just needs to convert TDs in the red zone. Mary has not shown the ability to stop the Hawkeye Express.

To kick the field goal with the wind, but more importantly to kick off with the wind before we switched for end of the quarter. Good time out for field position.
He has time to throw too. Just guys not getting open at times, but also Nate missing some open guys.

I think they were debating about going for it. Announcers said we called timeout so we could kick the field goal and before the quarter expired so we could kickoff with the wind. However, we through an incomplete pass on 3rd down so the clock was already stopped
