Much ado about nothing. He's our guy and it'll get done.
That’s what is wrong in today’s world…it is way too much about optics and almost zero about reality…the fact remains, we live in a “real” world.
Don't know if I'd call it an odd twist so much as things just not moving as fast as we all want.
I was thinking the same thing about US soccer just waiting to fall flat on our face.

I'll allow this off-topic tid-bit without reservation.
There are not many posters with access to the bball program, relative to the wrestling program.
There are probably a half dozen posters on the wrestling board with more access to the program than anyone has to the bball program.
You are right about a number of wrestling forum posters having INDEPTH knowledge of that program. Amazing FREE forum information.

Lots of sources now saying he was just hired by us. Supposedly ESPN stated it but it's not on the site so I don't know.
I honestly think that there's a lot of contradicting information because it's actually accurate. At this point, there is simply too much speculation and it's so heavily favored in our direction that it just has to be legit at this point. Too many actually relevant people reporting this in unison. I'm thinking Iowa is going to announce it officially tomorrow and attempted to keep it quiet but hasn't achieved that as it's obviously gotten out. I fully expect the 100% official announcement tomorrow very early in the day or before noon. Probably has something to do with BM wanting to wait I assume. Just my guess at this whole thing but it's got to be true at this point or is going to be literally the worst gut punch we could've ever received after all of this.
