This was a terrible idea, NBC. Savannah attacking Trump isn't going to play well with the few undecided voters.

The ABC town hall last month was much better where citizens asked tough questions and he answered like a jackass/deflected. George S. very occasionally stepped in.

Trump can't verbally spar with citizens, but he can against Savannah. She needs to step back and make it about the audience with the occasional clarifying question/fact check.

Regardless of how one feels about Trump's performance tonight, remember that he did the town hall format by himself because he was afraid to debate Joe Biden.
