I'm really torn here: validate the SEC, or throw a validation lifeline to the ACC.
They’re not ACC in my opinion. No particular love for ND, I just dislike SEC schools and their insufferable fans.
I have a love hate relationship as it relates to ND.
On the one hand, they're the prototype for the old 'how many students does it take to change a light bulb joke" (A: One, they just hold it up and the world revolves around them. On the other hand, having visited there and nearly sent Junior there, it's a special place that needs to be nurtured and maintained.
But as to sports, I very much resent that, unlike everybody else in the world, they don't have to shit or get off the pot when it comes to football restructuring, particularly when they've not shown themselves to be truly competitive at the highest levels for many years..
I forgot they moved it to a worse time slot than the music city bowl.
Right? Nothing get me quite as excited as a rando Thursday afternoon game. Why the hell didn't they play it tonight? Afraid people would stop watching the NBA?
the teams demanded an early game from what is being reported. PSU will have 2 days more rest with the delay.
Refs trying to make themselves the center of attention already. That was a clear roughing the kicker.
Weird to think that an extra 3 hours rest over a week's time would make a lick of difference. Requesting an extra day and moving both semifinals to the 10th absolutely makes sense. Adding 2-3 hours recovery time for a game a week out seems odd. Play it on a day that I'm not at work, I probably don't complain

Sounds and looks like a lot more Dawg fans there, but we only get to see 1/2, so who knows?

This officiating crew is missing stuff all over the field, and with both sides. Really speaks poorly of Big 12 officiating if this is the best they can put out there.
Might explain why the O/U in most Big 12 games is 60-something.

Also, slightly better defenses in this game than every single team in the Big 12. And by slightly better, I mean clearly hands down 100% better.
