Arguably it was Biden who decided it was going to be an issue when he proudly did away with all of Trump's policies that were restricting the flow at the border, paving the way for the mess Trump walked into the second time.

While giving facts to the third grader, you left out the one with the current admin instructing his party to kill a bipartisan bill to address immigration so that he campaign on it. You also omitted the fact that nothing is being done to address the industries that employ undocumented workers. (The reason that they are actually here.) If these facts are included, a third grader would clearly see that the current admin is more about riling up his supporters than resolving problems.

If your argument is that too many Democrats are cozy with the industries that rely on undocumented workers, I agree as well. But that means the problem won't be resolved by a shift to the political center or other such nonsense. If Democrats' goal is to stand up for American workers, they need to stop being Republican-lite and hold those industries' feet to the fire.

900,000 border encounters in 2019. Trump killed a border bill written by Lankford, a Republican. THEY ALL own the border. This has been a decades long issue. The Republicans don't give a damn. NO...American electorate stupidity and willful ignorance cost us our country...not just an election.

To this day, many Cubans refuse to check Latino, as do Brazilians, thus the box added that says “”other”.
Trump fixed, in under 100 days, the border issue without any change in legislation or funding. One that Biden said he couldn't fix and had 4 years to do so. The failure of that border bill wasn't the reason for the crisis at the border. Obviously.

You tell me...how was it the last 6 months? Again, this has been a both sides thing my entire lifetime. Trump literally killed a border bill. He pretends to care about a lot of stuff.
DOGE isn't doing what you think it's doing. Most of the cuts aren't even cuts. And they aren't even making a dent in the overall budget. If they were serious about being more efficient, they would actually embrace WFH as a way to save money and hire people in LCOL areas for cheaper.
