Omaha"s game is very similar to the way I remember playing in high school...
Unfortunately, it’s another top recruit of a long list that won’t even look at Iowa.
I’ve said this and will continue to say it, if Fran could just recruit the top players in the state our sweet 16, elite 8 drought would come to a end!

I read a post from a person in the DM / Waukee area that claimed to have some knowledge of the situation and he indicated it's very possible Omaha may become a Hawkeye. He's "one and done" regardless of where he goes, he's a Hawkeye fan, and he has at least one HS team mate that is will be with the IA Hawk program with another possible (Payton S' brother Pryce).
He placed the odds at the infamous 50/50. I have no idea of the validity of that poster's information. Still not likely but. I wouldn't give up hope totally.

Looks to be an excellent athlete. Very slow jump shot. While he may very well get there eventually, he is no way a sure fire one and done player. Based on these highlights anyway.
Fran is due to get at least one home-run commit.
Anything is possible. Iowa City would be a pretty easy drive for his family from Waukee. If he doesn't care about competing for a national championship and just wants to be a star for one year, it would make sense.
I think those plans fell through. It's a longshot, no doubt, but Fran (and Iowa) are definitely due.
