IMO if you compare OSU with another B1G team that lost in Nebraska, Nebraska is better. And that’s not to say Nebraska is even good enough to make the NIT. If you erased the jersey names on the front people would not buy what they’re seeing from OSU at all.
Yeah there’s not a whole lot to like from OSU, Purdue, Nebby right now. I can imagine NW and Penn St will also struggle. Teams that have the ability to have a good night but I doubt will show any positive consistency this year.
Also, Iowa State down 6 approaching halftime against a team that is ranked 354/357.
