Playoffs
Assuming a Wisconsin loss, if we are able to win out then we'd likely make the playoffs as long as the following takes place:

Against Undefeated Ohio State
1. We beat an undefeated Ohio State in B1G Championship then we're likely in playoffs.

Against a 1-loss Ohio State or 1-loss Michigan
1. We beat a 1-loss Ohio State or 1-loss Michigan then I think we'll need a bit more help to make playoffs.
2. We'd need Wisconsin's only other loss of the season to be against Penn State.
3. We'd need Iowa State to get to 7 wins including a victory against Texas and/or we'd need Iowa State to get to 8 wins with their only remaining loss coming @ Texas.
4. Penn State has to get to 8 wins.

Rose Bowl
I think there's multiple paths to the Rose Bowl, but again, Ohio State winning out gives us the best chance because it guarantees a 2-loss Michigan and a 3-loss Michigan State.

1. If we win out and lose to undefeated Ohio State in B1G championship then they'll go to playoffs, and we'll likely get selected over a 2–3 loss B1G East runner up for the Rose Bowl.

2. If we win out and win the B1G championship against a 2 loss B1G East team we'll likely go to Rose Bowl but not playoffs.

3. What we don't want is to lose to a 1-loss Michigan with Ohio State's only loss coming at the hands of Michigan. Ohio State will likely get chosen over us for the Rose Bowl in this scenario. We got chosen over Ohio State in 2015 for the Rose Bowl because we had just 1-loss. A 2-loss Iowa isn't going to the Rose Bowl when there's a 1-loss Ohio State available.

Iowa vs. an undefeated Ohio State in the B1G Championship is the best scenario for Iowa's Playoff and/or Rose Bowl hopes.

Dude's jumping the gun. Think Maryland.

I think the Hawks perform better in front of 69k than they would if Kinnick was empty on Saturday.

Since fans in no way, shape or form affect the game. He can look as far ahead in the schedule as he see's fit.
6 games left. IF Iowa wins out and IF Wisconsin loses another I'll care how other teams do. But edging out badgers just cuz they played a tougher schedule gives me little joy when we choked it at home in the head to head matchup. Seems like bad things happen when we get cocky/look ahead. Long way to go. Stanley gets injured and we are F'd

I got caught looking ahead against Wisconsin. It may have costed Iowa the game, but I love the Iowa/Minnesota game every year.

I take full responsibility and you’ll never see me looking ahead in the schedule again.

And Urban Meyer gets fired the next day cause you know it's ok to beat your woman but you can't lose to Purdue and expect to keep your job at The Ohio State University

The next best thing now is for Michigan to win out. This creates another Ohio State loss which would provide a much better chance of Iowa going to the Rose Bowl over Ohio State if we run the table but lose to a 1-loss Michigan in the B1G Championship game. If we run the table we'll likely have a more impressive win over Penn State than Ohio State's 1-point win, and we'll have beaten a Purdue team who beat Ohio State by 29 points. If we lose to Michigan by no more than 10 more points than Ohio State loses to Michigan than I think we'd be ranked ahead of the Buckeyes in the final polls and would get the nod for Pasadena assuming Michigan goes to the CFP.

many a slip tween the cuff and the lip, beat Penn State, all that matters right now , I cant stand PSU.

I am all for the Hawks winning out or at least winning 4 of their last five but I wouldn't be upset if I never saw the Hawks in Pasadena again.
