The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association suspended the Edmond North High School Girls Wrestling Program, citing two egregious acts of unsportsmanlike conduct, which Edmond Public Schools confirmed resulted from the actions of a parent.

Yeah there's a lot to this one it sounds like. One of the girls was going for her 4th state title and as of now can't. Lots of posts out there about how the parent in question is a regular menace, how his daughter wrestles dirty, throws collar ties that are more like head punches.

Makes zero sense the entire team is punished for the idiocracy of one parent (if, indeed, he is the owner of both incidents) … will never understand the number of psycho parents when it comes to their kids athletics… My oldest brother has reffed at various levels for basketball and also umpired for baseball … He said the shit that gets tossed his way by parents and players is unfathomable … (he still takes the abuse because it’s better than being at home with his bitch of a wife) … 🤣
