The dual could easily go 5 - 5; but, I doubt it. 7 - 3 is my guess.

The media guide says the Cowboys lead the all-time series, 29-24-2. Since Iowa has won six of the last eight, it was 27-18-2 eight meets ago. I've been looking forward to getting this back in Iowa's favor. I'm pretty sure Gable got us barely in the lead, right?

Hopefully, after tonight we're only 4 behind in the series.

Hawk fans in general have great respect for Coach Smith, the OSU program, and Cowboy fans. You should see Carver close to its best — especially for 125. Don’t miss that one.😉

2011 Stillwater, OK Iowa wrestled OKSt to a tie ending Iowa’s match winning streak at 69, tying Iowa w OkSt for second longest win streak in history.

Had Iowa won the dual on criteria they would have passed the all time record of 76, held by OKSt by running the Big Ten table going 7-0 over the next five weeks beating tOSU, Northwestern, PSU, Indiana, Purdue, MI and finally MN for number 77.

I won't say who won if there was criteria in the Ok St dual but if it came down to arm wrestling John Smith isn't beating Tom Brands. Ha. Soon after the NCAA did away with dual meets ending in a tie.

What did you think of Carver? Was it worth your effort, time, and money to get to Iowa City?

Certainly worth going. We had a really good time other than the wrestling part. Makes for a really long drive home.
