Yesterday Ed Cunningham talked about how good Iowa is and made the point that there are several NFL players on this roster. Specifically, he said Boone, Welsh and Blythe from the OL will play at the next level. I thought it was interesting only because the comment came from a guy who played OL in the NFL and has a good idea of what's going on there. I wonder how many of the ESPN talking heads can see that talent when they are spewing off about us?
Also loved the stats about Kirk sending OL to the NFL, all while making sure everyone knew we had a better success rate at that position than Wisconsin, who seems to get a lot of love when talking about their big boys.
