Oliver Martin to Iowa

Seriously Hawkeye fans, i was as skeptical as anyone but he literally mentioned it without asking. Take it with a grain of salt, (I guess) but he literally said he was coming to Iowa
If he was at Pints then he is literally in Iowa ((((City))).
Thanks for your April fools day joke about 2 months late...:D:p

It could be true... two years ago there was speculation and from what I was told it had some feet to it.. he may want to come home play in front of his family..

Just received confirmation from Oliver Martin that he is transferring to The University of Iowa.

Spoke to him at Pints downtown Iowa City and he just told me straight to my face. ON GOD

First of all, I don't believe it.

Second, if it's true it is welcome news.

But, lastly, here are his career stats at MU.

Games - 13
Catches - 11
Yards - 125
TD's - 1
Long - 21 yds

I don't recall Mich having stud WR's in the last 2 years - could be wrong here.

So, is OM really a game changer?

He redshirted in 2017, those stats are from 7 games as a RS Frosh.

He’s not a game changer and never was. Unless you’re a lineman, TE or some defensive stud I usually fade any Iowa high school “skill” position.

I’m sure hundreds of you will blast me with the few that did perform well.

They did have 5 star Peoples-Jones and 4 star Nico Collins.

Can he transfer in conference and only have to sit one year? I really hope this is true but I have a feeling it is not. Hope I'm wrong.
