Coming off one of the best seasons in school history, Iowa soccer (13-2-4, 8-2-1) earned their best-ever seed in the NCAA Tournament on Monday, a #3 seed in the top-left quad of the bracket. The Hawkeyes will face Missouri State in the first round on Friday in Iowa City. It's been an incredible season on the pitch for the Hawks and their seeding gives them a real opportunity to put a stamp on the best soccer season in school history. A Sweet Sixteen berth would be a huge accomplishment for this squad, and the program as a whole, and the team has a great chance to accomplish that feat.
Elsewhere, the Hawks faced more tough sledding, suffering losses in field hockey, volleyball, and swimming.
