The Iowa Track and Field team closed out their season in grand style last weekend, as multiple Hawkeyes earned All-American Honors. Austin West led the way, finishing 3rd in the decathlon, earning a national bronze medal and 1st-team All-American honors. Austin Kresley (200m), Amanda Howe (hammer throw), Paige Magee (100m hurdles), and James Carter Jr. (triple jump) each earned 2nd-team All-American honors. The Hawkeye track and field season was another impressive display by a program that continues to excel. Head coach Joey Woody and his team have created a strong team culture and foundation for future success. His teams have consistently competed with the best in the Big Ten and made noise on a national level. Congratulations to Coach Woody and the entire Iowa Track and Field team on a great season.
