Omaha For NCAA Tournament

IIRC Iowa needed to be on the 4 line last year to be in Des Moines. Is it the same situation for Omaha?

With dropping this Wisky game. Going to be tough sledding to get to .500 in the league which I think Iowa has to do to get to the tournament.
You already told us it is going to be tough sledding to even make the tournament with last nights loss to Wisconsin and now your worried about Iowa being a 4 seed? Go worry about your own team

Win out and hope KU and Baylor fall on their faces because those will be the two pod’s high seeds.

Best we can hope for is St. Louis. Would have to beat out Butler, MSU, or Louisville most likely.

Realistically what would Iowa need to do to make this happen.?

If Iowa won out with the remaining schedule they have they’d be a 1 seed haha.

St Louis, CLEVELAND and Omaha are the three Midwest 1st round sites with none in Texas.
Kansas is the one school probably “prefers” Omaha, while a lot want ST Louis or Cleveland.

Probably have to get to 3 seed to push Baylor out since, no real home for them

I agree with everyone that the OP is a dope.

But something to keep in mind:

Iowa doesn't necessarily have to have a top 4 seed to get a good site for the NCAA's. They can get in the "back end." For instance, I think that a very real possibility is Iowa getting a #6 seed and being set up to play #3 Butler in the second round in St. Louis.

After last night's loss, maybe Iowa will get the Minnesota treatment and get a 10 seed close to home.

Last nights loss was a killer and not only that, word is that Maryland is having a great week of practice
