To the Minnesota AD...Thank you for being too lazy to conduct a national coaching search and handing the head coaching position to Brandon Eggum.

That was fun tonite. Total domination against a one time wrestling power now relegated to middle of the pack status.

Eggum was quoted in the pre -season that Tommy Thorn had turned the corner. Looks like he's headed south in the northbound lane!

Please explain... they upgrade at HWT and where else? Brayton Lee will be true Freshman. He's not going to make the same splash that the Iowa true freshman Lee is making. Every other weight is a wash or downgrade @ 165.

Plus it looks like McKee has taken a step backward as well. Redshirt him next year and have him ready for 141 cause that boy is cutting way too much weight. They have Allar and Pat McKee at 125...plus Gable. Going to have to depend on a lot of true freshman or just wipe next season and shirt everybody.

I would guess Lizak, Thorn and Bleise all go up a weight. Polakowski goes 125. Marko goes at 141. 165 is Allar, 174-Krone, 184-Anderson, 197-Steveson, 285-Steveson

Redshirt Mitch McKee, Owen Webster(unless they end up using it this year with a med dealio as he has been out a long time) and the rest of the incoming recruits125-McKee, 149-McIntosh, 149/157-Lee, 157/165-Thomas, 197-Joles, 133/141-Gliva. Should be brighter days ahead, but they will have to work for it.

We could be ok next year, but still not in the upper echelon IMO. Just gotta get healthy and get better.

Maybe Minny needs to come up with some nicknames for their wrestlers like Iowa, although Eagle and Bull and so boring. Go visit the B&L site and learn how to do it. Penn State has a freshman hvy coming in next year they call Big NutSacks. Now there's a nickname.

Iowa is not middle of the pack, it just may seem that way after years of being everyone else’s daddy. And you guys wanna know why folks like me come here to see what’s up and at times even troll? Because Iowa is always tough and there’s always a threat they may one day be our daddy again. They are obviously on the right track...
