I don't care either...PED's are all over pro sports. Jim Bouton and Dave Megessey documented them in their books. Heck even Willie Mays drank some sort of performance enhancing jungle juice when he played. That isn't my point...The PED garbage was nothing but a witch hunt. People loved it when Bonds, McGwire and Sosa were gobbling up PED's and hitting 600ft home runs. Everybody knew what is going on, but nobody cared until it was over with.
pro sports are such hypocrites...Barry Bonds can gobble all sorts of PED...Vick can strangle dogs...guys can beat their wives and murder people but don't ever bet on games and get caught.
I don't think it's so much the gambling as it is the lying to Major League Baseball for decades. Had he immediately come clean, apologized, and asked forgiveness, he would already be in the Hall of Fame.
Well it's the liberals.pro sports are such hypocrites...Barry Bonds can gobble all sorts of PED...Vick can strangle dogs...guys can beat their wives and murder people but don't ever bet on games and get caught.
The rule is very clear, sorry but F Rose.Posted in every MLB clubhouse-

Growing up Pete was one of my favorite playersThe rule is very clear, sorry but F Rose.

The hypocrisy is that Pete Rose's gambling never impacted the outcome of a game. He claimed he never once bet against his team as a player or manager and they never were able to prove that he did.
What they have proven is that players have taken PEDs (and still are..especially those doing "off season training" in the Dominican Republic where PEDs are legal) and PEDs have impacted the outcome of games. The impact has not only been by increased performance by the athletes but also just the opposite in the suspensions issued to players who are caught. Double edge sword. PEDs have both helped teams/players AND hurt teams/players yet those players are dealt with less harshly than a man who broke the rules but impacted no actual games.
F Rose? Maybe. F MLB? Absolutely.
Gambling means that sometimes you're going to have to throw the game and lose.
PEDs means that they were always trying to win.
Also can you just take Pete Rose for his word? He's been lying his whole career, why would he start telling the truth now?
Pete Rose is a con-artist who has never stopped the charade
that he is a changed man. He recently wrote a book in which
he admitted betting on baseball games that he played in and
managed. He never got professional help for his gambling
addiction. Players and managers betting on games in which
they are participating is forbidden by MLB.
