It is one hell of a lot more fun to be in the NCAA tourney, to get to play in it, and even winning just one game in it, than in years when we are not. It makes me hope we see this on a much more regular basis than we have over the past 16 years.
As Hawk fans we almost forgot what it felt like by NOT making the tourney 11 of the previous 15 years entering this season.
This year was a MUCH bigger taste than last year. The tourney is much more meaningful and fun when Iowa is in it.
Hope we can build on this.
