I've had something like this. It was raw steak ground into raw hamburger with jalapenos and onions and some other seasonings. Served on crackers. It's delicious.

I was also skeptical at first, and then I was happy that I wasn't a lil biotch and tried it. With that said, not sure I'd like it in a sandwich. For me, it's gotta just be on crackers.

Yep, the no pic is from NE Iowa and said her parents had those a lot at parties when she was young. I don’t remember those being popular in Central IA, but I do remember my cousin eating raw beef out of the fridge just to gross me out.

That's a Swedish dish at least in my family. Any Christmas get together with my mom's generation and older included lutefisk. My dad and my brother wouldn't touch the stuff so always ate a little for my mom's sake. They always put it in cream sauce so it wasn't awful, but it didn't have much taste other than salt.

our own beeves...killed, processed, and frozen. I wouldn't do it with store bought chuck.
