I use Bovada and like them. Easy to deposit and never had a problem with payouts (1-2 weeks to get a check, never bounced). They can be a little late setting football lines for some games, but they are reliable and kind of geared toward the recreational gambler.

Any other suggestions? When I go to the site it says it’s not offered in my area. (Southern Maryland)

Maryland doesn’t allow it yet so I’m SOL. I’ll be back in Iowa for the NIU game so I may try and signup then.

How do you do the deposits? Do you have to use a person to person like Western Union or whatever the name of the one at Walmart is? I was on 5dimes from about 2010-2017 and only deposited once, never withdrew. To attempt to deposit again, I think I'd have to do a person to person which is probably pretty simple but sounds like a pain in the ass.

The only way I could figure out how to deposit money was adding money to a Visa NetSpend card and then depositng to Bovada with that card. Was kind of a pain in the ass. Haven't used bovada in a few years though so not sure if that still works or not.

News Jersey initiated online betting last week. Soon other states will follow in order to tax gambling and keep some of the cash that is now going offshore. Soon even Iowa will have online wagering and we won't need Bovada and 5Dimes.

I just use my debit card. I know people who use bitcoin to deposit as well, but I think they accept most cards

The Bovada website says: "Prior to purchasing a Visa Gift Card, make sure that it is good for 'International and Online Purchases'. For more information about our credit/gift card deposit option, or to find out which Visa Gift Cards we recommend, just scroll to the bottom of this page. You can reach out by email or chat with one of our dedicated agents live. We’re available 24/7."

Dimes is the same. But I can’t find those international Visa prepaid cards anywhere? Where do you get one?
