I cut my hair and did my own highlights today. But I grew up in my Mom's beauty salon, so I've always known how to do hair.
Knowing how to cut hair, I assume it’s still harder to cut your own hair?
Why do you care? You're not allowed to see anyone anyway. And even at the store everyone is focused on the mask and not the hair.
Yes,it is. But my bathroom mirrors are positioned just right for me to see what I'm doing.
I actually used that as a kid. That thing was awful when it worked. When it didn't, it was a freakshow. Junior high sucked.
It's not that hard. The hardest part is making sure your wife doesn't screw up the neck trimming and ear cleanup.
I cut my hair a couple weeks ago and thought I did a good job. Then, in a casual zoom convo, my mom said the back was horrible. She had stopped by for a backyard distance meeting but never said a word when she was there. I checked afterward she stated it looked bad in the back and she was right. I blame my wife. I had her cut the back.
I bought one 15 or 20 years ago. haven't paid for a hair cut since.

What's a hair-cutting kit? How good a job can you do w/ one?
Please tell me there isn't someone on the internet setting "a bowl and a pair of scissors" for $30....
the only correct way to do ear cleanup is with fire...so, yes...hopefully she doesn’t screw that up.
