The knee was down a half yard from the goal line, with the ball not close to the line. That is crap.

Thanks for not showing us the other angle, Fox. Nike $$$

So north Carolina needs a handful of yards in less than 6 seconds and kick a career long

Stevens could have given that a shot for a fg. But nc chucks it up and Oregon wins. Completely terrible ending. Hate Oregon. Exciting game thought.

Just watched it again. Clearly not a TD.

Consult your optometrist with your next day off. ;)

He was on the player, not the ground. By the time any part of his body hit the ground, the ball was breaking the plane. If they had ruled him short, it would have been first down from 6 inches to score and Oregon had 2 TOs left.

Did someone lose some money? You seem angry.

I think it was close but there was no angle to show definitively one way or the other so you have to go with the call on the field. I think they handled it the right way.

Also, keep in mind that the replay officials have camera views and shots that we don't necessarily get shown on TV.

NC lost because their defensive backs have never learned to turn around and find the football when a pass is thrown.

Elementary shit that kids learn at an early age.

Might be "elementary"....but it happens nearly every game played at the college level....sometimes several times a game.

EXACTLY. He had the ball tucked in, and the right knee was down on the 2 yard line. The ball was nowhere near the goal line.

Game over.

It was still a first down with two timeouts in their pocket. In my eyes he appeared down inside the one. They would have scored, UNC couldn't stop Iowa from scoring.

So... Nike paid off the refs? Good luck proving that, for God's sake bad call every game!
