I don't believe this is an end of the world loss...we found out some things and confirmed some things.

Gilman-goes out and backs it up against Picc who is a tough wrestler to do that to.

Clark-Cory outwrestled him...Kid Brock is very susceptible in the third...Cory looked good but needs to finish. Great job by the clock folks...haha.

Carton-Great job by Carton....really pushed him and I think he can make a run. Needs to get to legs more

Sorensen-Obviously needs to shoot and get aggressive with this guy and not go to OT....OSU didn't do much the whole match

Kemdawg-Very good match except I think he could have scored more on Joe had he been more committed. Nice total volume of shots. Just a joy to watch

St Johns-Kind of expected

Meyer-Guy has the talent, just does some boneheaded moves. Example. Guy is out of bounds on your legs with you standing straight up, don't jump over him and try to funk him.

Brooks-Wow...Sammy went out and dominated a very tough guy...had the pin. Continued to work towards bonus.

Wilcke-Choose Neutral! Gives him a chance to wear the guy down and win it at the end

Stoll-Hope he's healthy; needs to commit more to getting his body lock or to slide down the leg

Many of these can be reversed at NCAAs....we dominated them in the dual and they came back to outscore us at NCAAs.

I'm ok with 125, 133, 157 and 184. Everyone else deserves some level of criticism
141- Let him dictate and win the match exactly how he wants to win it. Didn't make much of an attempt to get to his own offense until there was 20 seconds left
149- Collica did less than nothing, but you didn't do enough to force the ref to make stall calls. Clearly the better wrestler, but you can't let it come down to that.
165- SSJ just isn't good enough, but stay off your freaking back
174- Not surprising but Meyer looked really really bad. Flat footed with no setups
197- Not a good enough effort to get out from bottom.
285- Sloppy

I walked away pretty encouraged by Clarks match. I thought he controlled most of the match and it didn't look like the shoulder was bothering him to much. What Nato did to Richards does concern me though. Taking him down that many times is no easy task.

Clark's shoulder brace looked really uncomfortable and he never used it as an excuse but seriously...his opponent used it as a gripping point 2 or 3 times in the FIRST PERIOD ALONE...it was his go to move when they scrambled. The ref was 3 feet away looking the first time it happened and didn't even give a warning. No excuses but Clark was aggressive and wrestled well. An injured Clark is still a better option than our other guys at this point
