OSU vs Purdue

If you were a receiver looking at B1G schools and you had an offer from Iowa or Purdue, which would you take? If David Bell watched that game or was at that game last night Iowa has no chance of landing the kid.

He probably saw Iowa do it last year too.. don’t get me wrong Iowa has some good talent but Iowa don’t have a kid like Rondale Moore.. He’s a recruiting tool all by himself. He’s Purdue’s Tyreek Hill/Saquon Barkley..

Who gives a damn what Bell thinks? If he's not interested in playing in Iowa City, that's just fine. I think Iowa could, somehow, manage without him.

I want David Bell to come to Iowa and until he says he’s NOT, I like the kid! feelings may change if he makes a unwise decision! Lol! I’m just saying it would not surprise me if he wanted to join forces with probably the most dynamic player in the B1G..

Ugh he probably saw the Iowa vs. Indiana game too. So your point is pretty mute. Think Iowa has shown they're welcome to throw it heavily now. Think it's gonna come down to relationship with coaches and just where he'd rather live.

I'm not so sure of that,... Bell is a receiver and Stanley will still be quarterbacking, whereas Blough is currently a fifth year senior,... I'm not sure who Purdue has on deck at QB but they didn't start the season with Blough...

On deck next season will be Elijah Sindelar who will be a senior. He started the last 4 games last season during Purdue's resurgence when Blough went down with an injury. They both platooned prior to that. He has a better arm than Blough but he is not that mobile. Strickly a drop back passer. He has quite a bit of experience. This season, Sindelar was the opening game starter against NW. Got yanked after 2 INT's and Blough never looked back since. Next season, I expect Sindelar to be able to throw the ball at will. The question is, who will be the starter after Sindelar leaves after next season that may way into Bell or any WR decisions.

I'm assumng Jake Plummer is the current 3rd string QB and most likely backup to Sindelar next season. Never seen him play. Therefore, not sure what type of QB he is.

Watching the two last year I thought Sindelar was the better QB by a landslide. (shows you what I know). Blough seemed to throw some pretty silly INTs where it seemed like he was trying to do way too much. In 2016 I think he threw over 20 INTs. It seems like the game has really slowed down for him this year and his decision making is what you'd want out of a SR. QB. Sindelar is undoubtedly a capable B1G QB, good size, big arm, but not real mobile. Probably a little more similar to the Hawks Stanley than he is to Blough.
