OT: Baylor turns a blind eye

You wanna win like the SEC, you gotta get down in the gutters like the SEC.

Briles is an arrogant prick. Loved watching him whine after getting jumped over last year. He still is whining. Screw that guy

Pederson claims to have personally called Briles and divulged all details about this player and why he was kicked off the team. Briles claims they spoke but Pederson did not divulge any of those details.

Someone is a liar here!

I'd guess the one from Tejas.

Unfortunately this happens at more universities than people would like to admit. Athletes get better treatment especially male athletes (mainly football and basketball) even if their victim is a female athlete. If it's not cut and dry it's hard to make a decision on what to do as you could ruin a innocent player's athletic career or you could let a rapist walk free on the campus.

Making good follow up and strong investigating all the more important; neither of which appears to have taken place at Baylor.

Briles must say that he was not warned about the convicted rapist/football player he allowed on the team. The way that it stands now Baylor is on the hook for a civil lawsuit by the the victim of Ugwauchu. Briles was prepared to allow Ugwuachu back onto the team.
