Not sure how his eligibility clock works since he got to ISU mid year a couple years back and used a RS.

Seems like he would have to sit out, lose a year of eligibility and then only have a year left to play. If that is the case, he should just go overseas and play and make money.

Best of luck to Cam, I'm bummed, I really liked him and was rooting for him. I sincerely hope he gets his degree.
Because I don’t follow ISU close, I seem to remember him being a pretty big get for you guys (or at least a lot of excitement surrounding him) What happened? Was he the one caught joking around in the bench at West Virginia?

What is RandyPete going to write about? i swear I saw one story a week on him. Oh, well, he'll find something.

He won't be the only one, heard there's several guys that were ready to leave Ames one way or another on that team.

Who else?

Suspected is Lewis to transfer, Wiggington to test NBA and Talen Horton-Tucker test NBA as well, who is on several 1st rd NBA mock drafts.

It’s always been abt. the education at ISU.
Who can forget Troy Davis?

I do hope Cam get’s his life figured out.

Wigginton played like crap this season didn't he? Definitely not the guy that burned Iowa in 2017-18 season. I guess getting an evaluation from NBA is somewhat useful, but most of these guys should already know they aren't good enough. It is usually pretty obvious what they need to work on.

Yes, finding another school.

Wiggington didnt play vs Iowa this year. His injury kept him out for most of the non-conference. Had to look it up, but he did win the B12 6th Man Of Year award, so he must not have been too bad.

He will need to find someplace that is ok with his habit and I am sure there are plenty out there.

He wants to play for a coach more open minded about his drug use.

I don’t know too many people who go to rehab for weed.

He was an ok get. He was a mid to high 3 Star. Played better than expected his RS Freshman year but as you know flamed out last season.

I remember all the Isu fans on here talking about how big of a get he was, guarantee you were one of them.

I was excited about him just because I'm excited about all our recruits. He came in the same class as Solo and was ranked higher as Solo. We were in real need of a few bigs in that class and he was supposed to be the better of the two. I still think he was the better of the 2 but not the smarter.

Correct. I think that incident is completely overblown.

He wasn't really a huge get, but Prohm has continuously invested in the kid. Kept recruiting him when it looked like he wasn't going to qualify (not a grades issue - transferred high schools a bunch of times, one ended up not accredited, so he didn't have core credits, long story), continued to try and bring him along, had a great freshman season, this year had the suspension and could never really get it going. Just a fouling machine this year. He was mostly just one of those guys that comes from a background of zero structure and stability. I sincerely hope he gets a degree somewhere.

Han played basketball? I'll bet Chewie did too. Fabulous dunker.

Or really good, depends on if everybody comes back.
I like that you signed Prohm because he’ll never be a big time coach.

But I get where your fanbase likes him also. He’s at the perfect level for him in the Big12. Not big time b-ball like the B1G or ACC but not mid-major either.

You know, I am too, and our AD even decided to tell everybody without a FOIA request. Truly astounding for you I know.

Prohm appears decent enough, wins games in Ames and is likeable. Not sure why Cyclone fans would dislike him.

When was the last time Iowa had a "Big Time" coach?

Just to note, there are plenty of below avg coaches in the B10 and ACC.....and the B12 for that matter.
