Oh man........................ he just missed out on the Iowa State job!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Texas maybe? High Schools down there love the read option. Never have to leave the state to recruit.
I bet he goes to the Titans, I doubt he wants to go back to college especially since the good jobs hand been filled. His back to back winning records will give him another chance, just don't give him control over the rosters.

It's not so much that his system didn't work because it worked fine back when he wasn't the GM. What happened is he took over being GM and immediately started trading away, cutting, or just letting walk popular players from that team.

Mathis . . . Gone
When you do stuff like that you are on a really short leash.
If some GM came in and took over the Colts and traded away Andrew Luck, TY Hilton, and Robert Mathis and the Colts the season had a losing season, I wouldn't want to give him time I'd want that idoit fired.
Chip Kelly could coach in the NFL. . . Maybe not exceptionally well but well enough. He can't be a GM in the NFL. He outsmarted himself.

A lot of teams need a coach. However I personally believe that my Colt's will get the pick of the litter this year.
I'm hoping Chip Kelly isn't the pick of the litter though. I don't think he's necessarily a bad coach but I don't think he's all that special either. He's def. a bad GM though.
He leaves the Eagles with less talent than they had a year ago. Competitive, but in serious need of an overhaul. They need a good GM as much as a head coach.
I thought Chip was a little screwy when he paid up for Murray after letting McCoy, Mathis and Maclin go. I figured he'd fail when he brought in Bradford.
Chip lost the locker room. Jason Peters made a comment that he plays for the owner, not the coach. Murray had Lurie's ear on a return flight. Maybe he learns from this.
Pretty sure this story is false. Colin Cowherd said repeatedly that Chip Kelly would revolutionize the NFL. And if you listen to Colin Cowherd you know he feels he knows everything so something doesn't add up.
