Just read an article on Sanders and his first recruiting class at Jackson State. Apparently the #1 class overall in FCS and if they were lumped into the FBS rankings, they'd have had a top 40 class. Flipped a top rated CB on signing day from Georgia. Picked up several transfers from Power 5 programs.
How does everyone think he'll do at Jackson State?
Personally I think the guy and his hype will attract talent, but will the staff be able to coach them up?
Part of me thinks his ego won't be able to take the FCS world long because he craves the glamour and glitter and he'll be short term there. Another part of me says if he has any on-field success at all at Jackson and Florida State falters at all on the field, Sanders will be scooped up sooner than later by Florida State. I'd be looking over my shoulder if I were Mike Norvell in Tallahassee. To me there's no doubt he took the Jackson State job to get a shot at his alma mater job within a few short years.
