I always like following former Hawks in the coaching ranks.
Interesting to see Jay Norvell and how he's approaching things in his 10 days at CSU-- definitely taking a hard ass approach.
First, he's is coming to Colorado State from Nevada so one Mountain West school to another so that's a headliner.
Then he is bringing in 8 players from the University of Nevada as transfers that played for him there.
There were many kids scheduled to visit campus the weekend before signing day and he did catch some heat for cancelling most of those visits just before that weekend (many were Colorado kids) citing the fact they really didn't know any of those guys.
Then, in his signing day presser, Norvell was very up front that there would be many personnel changes between now and the start of next season. He said because his system he's bringing in is very different than the one Addazio has at CSU previously, there will be many kids currently in the program that just won't fit into his program now.
Hard core stuff. Definitely a dog eat dog world out there now in college football.
