I'm fine with no spring game, no matter the reason. I've gotten used to it as an Iowa fan. I do think not having some type of spring fan gathering is a missed opportunity. Maybe have an alumni football game in front of a paid audience with all money going to the SWARM. They used to play alumni games at some schools back in the 80s. Just put some rules in play, similar to final ten years of the Pro Bowl, and let the Hawkeye legends have at it one more time.

Truthfully the Iowa spring practice is boring. Only go because my kid enjoys going.

No, of course not. Nebraska just scored again with adding the starting tackle for Notre Dame. And adding an elite special teams coach to fix the horrendous special teams which certainly cost Nebraska several games. Off-season national championship is assured.

I have started 0 Nebraska threads out of the 100s that I've seen here over the past year. I just like seeing what the goons across the river are up to - and you guys are always up to hating on other teams instead of just worrying about Iowa.

I'm here looking at the newest Husker hate because it's entertaining. I don't spend time creating threads about other teams though. And most fans don't. It's kind of an Iowa thing.
You know something else most fans don't do? Spend a bunch of time on other boards crying about other fans hating on their team. Must be kind of a Nebraska thing. 🙄
If that is the concern, maybe Nebraska should cancel all of their games. In August, they can declare themselves BT champions and National champions. That will build interest in the program, attract all sort of top-flight talent every year who never have to play a game, and still win the National championship every year. I think Ruhl is on to something.
Would be great if they taped all their fans mouths shut for the season as well.
The Nebraska fans are tame. The Ped State wrestling fans are 100 times worse.

Rhule spent a bunch on the portal, top 7 in an article today. Probably a sign of the times until something happens in transfer law. Schools are not going to showcase their players like they have previously.
Most fans aren't on football boards period. If you think Iowa is the only board that creates posts hating on other teams, you haven't been to other boards....or your own for that matter.
I will say that the husker board delivers the most epic meltdown threads hands down.
