Northwestern has taken 2 from Nebby winning yesterday 2-1 and today 3-2.

and NW is up 8-6 in the third game right now in the 5th inning.

It's actually quite a shocker as you figured Nebraska would get the sweep and at the very worst win 2/3. The thing that surprises me the most is how Northwestern held Nebraska to three runs in the first two games.

Actually went to the 2nd game with my gf. Highly entertaining game. NW got out to an 8-2 lead in the 4th and then Nebraska chipped away to pull ahead 9-8 in the 7th. NW tied it back up top of the 8th, followed by Neb pulling ahead again in the bottom of the 8th to finish off a 10-9 win. Nearly 30 hits combined in that game.

Bad series loss for Nebraska. First two games were great pitching performances but the bats, which had been hot over the last 10 games, we're completely silent. Lost first game in 12 innings by a run and second game by a run. Third game was a barn-burner. Lucky to have won one.
