OT: Obi Toppin

Happy President's Day, ya'll!

You might know Obi Toppin as the rival to Garza for the Wooden Award and lottery pick prospect, but he was not always perceived this way.

Watching this Obi Toppin feature has got me thinking of similarities with the Murray brothers. Obi's a redshirt sophomore who had zero DI interest coming out of high school, opted to enroll at Mt. Zion Preparatory School for a postgraduate year.

He's 6'9, 220 but had a late growth spurt and took time to grow into his mature body. They also have similar looking games. Am I reaching? One can dream.

Impressive guy. Lots of dunks. Probably and better pro prospect than Garza with the way he moves. All in on the Murray boys becoming stars like this guy

I definitely want Garza to win as many awards as possible, but assuming Dayton maintains their winning and goes undefeated in the A10, if Garza loses POY I would be ok with it going to Toppin.
