OT - Places in Atlanta

We are going down to Atlanta to watch the Titans and Falcons on Friday. Staying at Embassy Suites not far from Georgia Dome. Any recommendations for restaurants or good sports bars in that area? Thanks

Is it too late to change your hotel? That area right around your hotel is ok, in fact the college football hall of fame is fun and right across the street. But anywhere west of the dome is bad news fast. Or east or south of Phillips arena. So from where you are you can go to the game and then venture north of the hotel.

What I would advise is to stay in either midtown, which the other side of the freeway from GA Tech or Buckhead like was previously mentioned. You can easily take MARTA to the game from either place but have safer neighborhood around your hotel.

If you want to stay at your hotel there are a chain of local brew pubs that are similar to BWW but have 100 beers on tap and more bottles even yet. The name is Taco Mac despite the fact that they don't serve tacos or macaroni. There is a Taco Mac in the dome. Stats and Park bar are close as well and worth a look.
