They were available in the NW corner previously, but with the construction this year, I'm not sure. Call the ticket office. They might know.

I'm going to the Northwestern game, only my second game in the past 15 years. So it's possible to rent chair backs for one game? You just show up at the service booth on game day; no need to reserve? Anyone know the cost? And I'm assuming I don't need to return it after the game?

Season-long and game-by-game rentals are available. Customer information and service booths are located inside Gates B, H and M. If you need maintenance on your rented chairback, please call Hawkeye Seat Customer Service at (866) 895-7106 during normal business hours (Monday through Friday).

Personal chairbacks are not allowed inside Kinnick Stadium. Seat cushions without back support are allowed.

Seat backs are available for single games.
$8 per seat per game. No reservation needed.
Really helps if you have had a few back surgeries.
And as mentioned....protects “your space” at the game.
