OT: Tom Herman on his way out?

Sure sounds like it. I said after watching just the first quarter today that if those two coaching staffs changed talent pools, Campbell's staff would beat Herman's 10 out of 10 times.

Here's the real question: why did Herman go for it on 4th and 1 with 8 minutes left and up by four points? Now it could have worked out and they could have made it and then possibly went in and scored. But it completely blew up in his face.

KF had a similar scenario up by three and he kicked the field goal, which I believe was the right thing to do. That forced nebraska to go score a touchdown. Now granted, a touchdown would have won them the game. In Herman and Texas's case, a touchdown by their opponent would have only tied the game.

I'm all for taking risks within a game, but what was Herman possibly thinking? That decision almost surely cost him his job.
