Also, I know you won't PSU, but if you could knock off Illinois, it wouldn't go unappreciated in Hawkeye land.
Planning for the worst case scenario.
Iowa loses both tonight and on Sunday.
(hoping like hell the Hawks win [at least] tonight, but an MSU win tonight wold go a long way to making sure the Hawks can't do worse than the 5-seed)

If I knew beforehand the Hawks were going to be winners tonight, I wouldn't have bothered to start this thread.
It is pretty easy. Lose tonight and odds of the double bye have to be very slim.
I don't care about the double bye. Which team should we want to win for improving the Hawks NCAA resume? I would think Michigan St to potentially add another quad one win, correct?
I don't do the whole net quad etc. It's more difficult to figure when you play both teams once and beat em both. I guess since msu was a home game we'd want them higher.
Its all a guess though because if MSU then goes and loses to mi does that knock them back down? Too hard to know what will actually help...

I'm expecting Illinois' absolute best on Sunday - as well as probably some 'look the other way' reffing as well when Iowa has the ball, but total focus for ticky tacks when at the other end.

Sessoms fouled on a drive, no call, ILL drives back down the court on the possession change and makes layup & has mo and crowd life.

Had THREE different reset shot clocks due to rebounds, or ILL knocking ball out of bounds, on one possession and ended the possession with ZERO points and have missed last few times down the floor, too.

Don't mind seeing Illinois get screwed there... But what is the point of reviewing if you are going to screw it up anyway.
Man B1G refs are bad. That was a jump ball. Guess it was a makeup call for their last screw up. At least no overtime

First kept the OOB call with PSU when was obviously out off of Harrar. And of course PSU doesn't capitalize on the golden opportunity.

PSU loses by 20 at home to Nebby but gives Illinois all they can handle on the road. Go figure...
