Other games.

Penn State 76 - Nebraska 65.
And we lost our second starter, probably for the year. Juwan Gary already out for the year, now Emmanuel Bandoumel injures a knee, and could miss at least a month. Top backup big Blaise Keita has missed most of the Big Ten season with a high ankle sprain.

Hoiberg hasn't done himself any favors these last four years with poor roster management, but he finally seemed to hit on a defensive identity that kept us in games and helped beat Creighton, Iowa and Ohio State. Now we're out our top two defenders. Two other players, Quaran McPherson and Ramel Lloyd haven't played all year because of injuries, and Sam Griesel has missed two games with a bad hip.

Nebrasketball is both horrible and cursed. Yet we soldier on.

Indiana 42 - MSU 38 17:30 left in second.

Early: Purdue up on Maryland. Minnesota up @ Michigan.

Jett out the rest of todays game. Didn't look good as he didn't put any weight on it as he came off the court.

Courtney Greene sucks. Purdue is 1-19 ATS in the last 20 Purdue games he has called.
I didn't even realize he was on the crew. But I could have made an educated guess after the sequence of: missed out of bounds into flop called offensive foul into another questionable offensive foul. He's terrible and it's pathetic that he's still allowed to call games.

Purdue fouls up 3 ... Maryland 2 FTs. Maryland fouls Purdue with 3 seconds left. Purdue makes both FTs. Maryland ball down 3 with 3.9 seconds left.

Purdue survives. Maryland certainly laid out a bit of a blueprint. Maryland got their freshmen guards a bit sped up during their press. They were down 15 at one point.

Purdue plays excellent defense. They haven't given up over 70 points in any of their conference games. Iowa, meanwhile, has given up over 80 points 4 times already.

Northwestern 66 - Wisconsin 63. Both teams play road games Wednesday night. Glad we didn't get the same makeup plan Wiscy had to have.

Northwestern 58 - Nebraska 37 with 13:07 left in Lincoln.
Maryland 49 - Wisconsin 38 with 14:10 left at Maryland.
Indiana at Minnesota at 8:00 PM.

It was embarrassing for Iowa to lose to Nebraska earlier in season. I fully expect the Hawks to win the re-match in Iowa City.
