Did anyone watch the Neb Wis match? I got out of the iowa meet too late to see the 174 match. I'm surprised by the result and wondered what the score was before the fall.
Labriola was winning by 1 or 2. There was a stall call on him I believe. Labriola got lazy and got caught on his back in a scramble.

Wisconsin wins by criteria 21b., which is most wins by fall, forfeit or default. The Badgers had two wins by fall while the Huskers had one injury default victory.
Help me with this. Wisconsin gets a fall at 174 and gets 5 team points and Nebraska gets and int. default at 125 and gets 7 team points. What am I missing? Wisconsin had 2 pins - 12 points 2 decisions -6 team points, and a major decision - 4 team points for 22 points.
Nebraska had 1 int. default -6 team points 2 regular decisions - 6 team points and a tech fall for 5 team points and a major for 4 team points for 21 points. Where does the tie breaker come into play?

No Gross vs Fix last night so the one good match was Iowa native Pohlmeyer against BooLew. Hope Boolew quick recovery, looked bad left arm or wrist. Anyway, Pohlmeyer was winning rather handily before the injury. Guy has a wicked reverse nelson when Boolew got to a leg.

I only watched what I could after Iowa meet so just a guess here cuz I didn’t see those bouts...

Thinking Wisc got deducted a team point after 174 which is why they only scored 5 there

Then after the HWT match the score should read 12-12 which is why NEB score jumps up to 18 after the 125 inj default

I saw on Track (or somewhere) that Wisconsin had a team point deducted, making it 21-21.
Oops! I see sunwarrior already addressed this. I should read all the posts before jumping in.

That's exactly what happened, for the Wisconsin faithful celebrating too much after the last-second pin there.

Looks like this was the case. Team point deducted from Wisky for excessive celebration on Christensen's last-second upset fall. And then just a weird score carryover mistake for Nebby from the 197 to HWT match (phantom 1-pt deduction) that was then corrected (by adding the missing point back in) after the 125 match.

EDIT: Oops, I see SHP already mentioned the celebration penalty.

No Fausz or Wilson for NC State. Anyone know the deal there?

As noted previously, I am aware the Wilson-Gross match got yanked 2 weeks ago . . . and Gross is still not wrestling, either.

And Fausz sat out the first semester last year . . . maybe a thing for him late in his career? I imagine 125 isn't an easy weight for him to make.

I believe Fausz just won a gold medal at U23s...

OK well at least that makes sense. In high school any misconduct or unsportsmanlike behavior is a very high criteria. The team with the unsportsmanlike or misconduct point deduction would lose. I guess they do the criteria a different way in college.
Thanks!!
