The biggest bummer for me (and why I can’t wait to see Spencer Lee) is that we once again have no variety of offense on our feet.

125 Stickley: shoots a low double and switches to a right-handed outside single.

133 Laux: it’s a stretch here but right-handed outside single or dive at an inside single and have the corner be cut on him.

141 Turk: double ... cannot score off of a tie, period.

149 Sorensen: outside carry / single

157 Kemmerer: left-handed single, but he can score in scrambles, so he’s an exception.

165 Bull: nice 2-piece here ... hi-c and right-handed single

174 Gunther: an occasional right-handed single

184 Bowman: low left-handed single

197 Cash: duckunder ... he chases down singles occasionally

Hvy Stoll: body lock

We continue to be boring as hell on our feet ... I’m not asking for a bunch of Mike Zadicks or Lincoln Macs, but we need Spencer the most just to bring back some exciting, dynamic offense to the program.

The first time Brandon beat Tsirtsis, they were in OT and Brandon hit a high crotch to Tsirtsis's (that's a lot of "s's") left leg and that move won him the match. I've never seen Brandon attempt a high crotch again -- ever -- and I catch most of his matches. What happened to that move? It's a natural from the tie up position he favors.

Seems like Brandon has a pattern...against turds, TF them. Against mid range, get major in the last 30 seconds of the third period. Against good to really good, try to win in the third with a TD rideout or get the TD in OT. Very rarely see him outside of this.

It makes him one of the most predictable guys in the country but not many can stop it so it also makes him almost a sure win.
