Nova shot 58.3% for the game. I believe they were averaging 58.4% for the tournament. That's incredible.

They have shot creators and shot makers. aka... hard to guard and efficient!
They are so good at getting good shots and their defense is phenomenal.
He says on a basketball board. There was a championship? Huh, I'm too focused on football to notice.
Uhmmm, they probably adjust to how the game is called. They won a lot of games and they weren't all because the refs swallowed their whistle.I dislike Nova's HANDS On approach to defense, if refs called it like the RULES state 3/4 of their team would be fouled out by 1/2 time every game, really to bad the only way they can play D is against the rules, but the refs to chicken little to call it like they WERE TOLD to this year.
One more thing that I liked was no long reviews at the end to delay the game. Great game!!
Incredible indeed, but not nearly as incredible as the '85 title game when Nova beat Georgetown and shot over 78% from the field.

Yeah, I didn't state it too well, but my point was more to Nova's consistency over a six game (tournament, no less) stretch and the fact that their shooting percentage in the championship game was essentially identical to what they'd shot over the previous five. For my money the 85 team was more impressive because that Georgetown team was one of the greatest defensive teams that I ever saw.
