I think it depends on weather. A real boiler like IL State last year and it could be under. I do think the NDSU game will do better because they will bring some people. Miami won't.
I can atest to this. NDSU's football fan base is among the best if not THE best in the FCS in terms of traveling fans, and this is something they've established well before their championship streak. They make these games against FBS teams like mini vacations.I think it depends on weather. A real boiler like IL State last year and it could be under. Tbh, if they ever played Northwestern or Indiana they would probably out draw their fans too.
(I know, I know...that's not hard to do, but still.)
JR...... don't be that guy!!!!

I'm serious Dude. I didnt go to 82,86 or 91. It was a once in a lifetime thing and it was soul-crushing to watch as a fan.
I can't go because of a family conflict. I offered my season tickets at a golf outing the other day and the guys in my group were willing to pay more than the $65 a ticket. I ended up having them do a closet to the pin contest and no one hit the green, so we went to chugging beer. One guy in the group smoked everyone else, I ended up giving them to him for free.
There will be plenty for less.I will go probably because I can get a $30 ticket
Yeah, the over/under was well set as I also think attendance will be really close to 65,000.64957 to be exact.

Go root for the clones then.I wouldn't pay money to watch it or drive 4 hours round trip to watch it, thats all I know....
Nope but best atmosphere I've been in a LONG LONG TIME, epic game and such a fun time, so many things to cheer about during commerical break as well, crowd was JACKED.Wait, we didn't even get 65,000 for the Pitt game last year.
I am liking that a lot of these news pubs are giving us credit for last year but are also like...."We just don't think you'll do that again".Here's what SB Nation thinks of this game:
"Saturday, September 3rd - at Iowa (12-2, finished #9 in final AP poll)
Oof.
Miami is going to have an uphill battle in its season opener, as it takes on a Hawkeye squad that got off to a 12-0 start in 2014 and returns its best player in the Thorpe Award-winning corner Desmond King. Iowa's talent up front on both sides of the line of scrimmage will cause problems for the young and developing lines of the Red and White.RedHawks lose."
SB Nation goes on to predict an 8-4 season.
Because a 50 point beat down doesn't sound very exciting to me?Go root for the clones then.
They brought a lot of people to Ames a couple of years ago.I can atest to this. They will bring 5-10k easily I think. They brought a lot of people to Ames a couple of years ago.
Agree, that game was pure embarrassment. Feel bad for the players, had to be tough to get whooped so bad on the field. I can say I went to the rose bowl, which is about the only positive I took away from going to that game.I'm serious Dude. I didnt go to 82,86 or 91. It was a once in a lifetime thing and it was soul-crushing to watch as a fan.

Soul crushing? Wow. Seems serious this condition you have. It's Memorial Day right now. Why don't you check out the VA and see what soul crushing really can be. Priorities man. I have been to 3 Iowa rose bowls....disappointed? Yes. Soul crushed? Not so much. Frankly I felt worse for the kids at the BTC. I would suggest to TiVo the games and decide later if you want to watch.
