Overlooked Clark Accomplishment

Mostly, it is only those who never got good grades who don't care about good grades. Excellence is a way of life. People who seek excellence tend to seek it in all aspects of their lives and those who don't seek it, well it shows in all aspects of their lives.
It's all about the money in sports my friend. No one cares about nerds.

Dont disagree with your sentiment but people fail to understand how common 'excellent' grades have become these days. There are majors at Iowa universities where 3.3/4 +/- is the average grade.

Grades have grossly inflated, as you rightly said.

Not particularly surprised, college is expensive and time consuming,.. most people who attend work hard to succeed.

People care about academics and it should be shouted from the rooftops for getting there. College is tough enough with all distractions. Add basketball, add phenom and it becomes a lot to handle. Kudos to CC.

I agree that there has been grade inflation, but I think the UIowa College of Business (and Engineering and others) is more rigorous than the College of Liberal Arts. Her are the BIG 10’s women athlete academic ll-Americans. Clark stands out as having a more rigorous major than the others.

Caitlin Clark, 3.60 cumulative grade-point average while pursuing her degree in marketing.

Indiana senior forward Mackenzie Holmes, who maintains a 3.62 GPA in human development and family studies.

Fifth-year guard Grace Berger. Berger earned her undergraduate degree in sport marketing and management (3.89 GPA)

Penn State senior guard Makenna Marisa, who received third-team honors for the second year in a row. Marisa has posted a 3.81 GPA while studying elementary and early childhood education.
