Just noticed this phenomenon - Kenpom's 20th- 23rd ranked teams are all in the field. Notre Dame, Iowa, Xavier, and Wichita State. Seems like a great opportunity to build a resume against good, not great, competition.

Also goes to show how big the Dayton game is, as losing means we likely wouldn't get a true quality game if we lose (Dayton is currently 46, count it as quality if you want)

Xavier is a solid team. Notre Dame is a solid team. I saw an ESPN talking head say he had Wichita State as a dark horse to win the national title......o_O

My point is if we lose, we are unlikely to play any of those teams, so we would have a top 50 loss and 2 games likely against not top 50 teams.

Win and we get games that we won't be punished for losing, and will build a resume with wins.

Well, Dayton's best player is probably their PG. We've got 2 solid senior PGs. So in that respect, I like the matchup.

Great Tournament. And we'll have plenty of RPI and SOS and WTF else we need to have this season. Dayton is a game to beat Dayton.
