Parker Hesse - Was he a high school QB?

I just watched his high school highlight videos, and was unaware that he was a QB. Was I seeing something incorrectly? He is number 1 in the highlight videos, right? I think he'a a year away, but was very encouraged after seeing his play against ISU. I think by his junior year he will be a heck of a player.

What can the Waukon natives tell us about Mr. Hesse?
